Online Art Therapy Workshop with Jaspreet

This will be a two hours workshop for beginners and will be conducted over Zoom - adults or children above 8 years can join. In this workshop you will go through creative mindful activities to channel your emotions and feeling, co-realting vibrations and sense of smell with the aim to heighten your awareness.
Jaspreet is an Art Therapist with a private practice in Goa, India. "I believe that it is important to become aware of our emotions and our thoughts so that we can learn to take personal responsibility for our reactions and choices in a conscious way". Creative expression in combination with talk therapy assists us in becoming aware of how we feel and what we are thinking. Our artistic expression becomes a mirror so that we can "see" the energy that is creating our lives. With our expanded awareness, we can find more mental and emotional balance, and we can open ourselves to new possibilities and heightened fulfillment.
In this workshop we will create a safe space to express and share. We usually use our five senses to preserve the outside world, In the workshop we will create an ambience to soothe our senses with a small meditation and creating a comfortable environment. Using our senses we will decipher our sub-concious mind and channel our emotions through the power of smell, touch and hearing. We will use incense, music and creative expression through art as our tools to guide our process.
In the end we will have a disscusion to decipher our own creation.
Materials that you will need:
- A4 Size plain paper (a couple of extra sheets)
- Any Medium of colours
- Brushes , water and palette for mixing
- Pencil or Pen & Notepad
- Cushion to Sit
- Insence or Scented Candle
- Slient and space space
