Antique Victorian sterling silver heart shaped jewellery box. The box was hallmarked in Chester, England in 1899 as indicated by the Lion Passant, Letter 'Q'   marking on the bottom of the piece. The stunning box it would be the perfect container for small items of jewellery. In the Victorian era it would have lived on a ladies dressing table, filled with her favourite rouge or powder.
